In the last post, I wrote about the Search engine Spiders and SEO. I know that the information is not enough but I would rather write one thing at a time. And and this post, I will tell you a few more facts about our Search Engine Spider Robots!

  • The spider robots will periodically return to the sites to check for any information that has changed. The frequency with which this happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.
  • A spider’s brain is almost like a Complete Report or an Encyclopedia where it contains the table of contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million pages a day.
  • Search engine will search through the index which it has created by the Spider Robots and not actually searching the Web.
  • Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same species of Spider Robots to search through the indices.

Ya know, these spiders are like a new species created by mankind. They are evolving and have a mind of their own. I wonder if they ever get inlove with each other, maried and get their own children and pursue their career in the Serach Engines :)
